Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MRCP Part 1 QBank mobile application ("the App", "we", "us", "our"). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

The App is intended for adults preparing for medical licensing examinations. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use the App. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement.

2. Educational Use Only — No Medical Advice

The App provides practice questions, explanations, and study material for educational and exam-preparation purposes only. Its content is not medical advice and must not be used for the diagnosis or treatment of any patient. While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantee that the content is error-free, complete, or current, and we do not guarantee any particular examination outcome or result.

3. Accounts

• You may sign in using your Google account via Firebase Authentication. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that are used for unlawful or abusive purposes.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• Some features require a premium subscription. Subscriptions are purchased and managed through Google Play Billing, and are subject to Google Play's terms.
• Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled in accordance with Google Play's refund policy.
• Free users may be shown advertising within the App.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Copy, redistribute, resell, or publicly share the App's questions, explanations, or other content;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code or question database;
• Use automated means to access, scrape, or copy content from the App;
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security, licensing, or access-control features;
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.

6. Intellectual Property

All content within the App, including questions, explanations, text, graphics, and the App itself, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your personal, non-commercial study. No other rights are granted.

7. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services including Google Firebase, Google AdMob, Google Play Billing, and the Meta (Facebook) SDK. Your use of these services is also governed by their respective terms and policies. See our Privacy Policy for details on how data is handled.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or examination outcomes, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or any of its features at our discretion, including for breach of these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
